We are all guilty of having pet peeves and when it comes to food. Maybe because of religion or belief, but often some are delicate in choosing what they eat. One of them is Congresswoman Lucy Torres Gomez, who shared the common meat she no longer eats.
On June 21, 2021, the former actress had a Zoom virtual meet with the PEP.ph. In her interview, Lucy also shared her personal preference when it comes to food. She said she is not choosy when it comes to food, she has a few foods that she does not eat, and one of them is chicken.
The congresswoman shared that when she was young they had a pet goat. That’s why until he grows up he doesn’t eat it anymore: “There are things I don’t eat Talaga like kambing. Kasi, we had a pet goat before, growing up. Hindi ako kumakain ng kambing.”

On Lucy’s Instagram profile her love for animals can also be seen. She also regularly feeds her pet chickens in Ormoc City with her husband Richard Gomez. And because he was close to their pets, he called them the “Stars” of their home
Lucy added that because their house in Ormoc is large, they also have many pets. Her husband loves to take care of all kinds of animals, so the former actress joked that during quarantine they were like a big family in their house.
“Kasi ang dami niyang mga hayop. At saka magkakaibigan lahat ng mga hayop niya. Nagsimula lang iyan sa dalawang bao, dalawang turtle, and now may gansa, turkey, mga manok, may baboy, minsan pa may bayawak,” Lucy’s statement. She said her only request to her husband was not to take care of the monkey.
